What Options Do You Have for a Gap in Your Front Teeth?

Gap in Teeth Hunter Dental Care OR 97230-1914Do you have a gap between your two front teeth? If so, you may not like how it looks. It may even cause you to hide your smile and now show off how confident you really are inside.

There are things that can be done to help when you have a problem with your teeth, including a gap. Here are some options to consider if you want to hide that gap.

Options to Hide or Cover a Front Tooth Gap

The first option is to find out if the two teeth can be brought together by means of braces or a retainer. If the front two teeth are the only ones affected, it typically only takes a small amount of time to get it fixed.

Another option you have is veneers. They can be placed over your front two teeth and made slightly larger than the teeth they are meant to cover. This gives the appearance of no gap, without having to wait, since veneers take far less time than a retainer or braces would.

You also have the option of dental bonding. This is when we take the same material we use for a filling, since it is already white, and build up the edge of both of your front teeth. This gives the appearance that your teeth are slightly wider, covering the gap. It takes very little time and is often indistinguishable from your natural teeth by anyone else's eye.

We have options if you have a gap you do not like the sight of in your smile. Come in and talk to us about what you hope to achieve in terms of a look. We will then examine your smile and tell you which options will be able to give you what it is you were hoping to get.
